A selection of our Customer Vehicles, Projects and Bespoke Builds. We take great pride in working with our Customers to build you the best 4×4 Overlander or perform a Restoration just as you envisage it. We’ll be updating this page more projects progress, with a busy year ahead expect to see many more Customer Vehicles Built to Endure, Made in Britain.
Customer Vehicle – SWB Mitsubishi Shogun
This 2006 SWB 3.2 Shogun unfortunately had suffered the corrosion bug so it was fully stripped, rust removed, new metal welded in, treated and painted. Subframes and running gear have been overhauled to match. Accessories include suspension, bumpers and side steps to create and ultra-reliable version of this underrated Mitsi icon.
Customer Vehicle – HJ60
A complete rusted basket-case, this 1984 HJ60 is undergoing a nut and bolt restoration in collaboration with Blackline Classic Cars. The retro classic is going to be a show stopper!
Customer Vehicle – MK3 LN105 Hilux
This beautiful condition MK3 LN105 Hilux came to us for the body and tub to be renovated. We also installed new vinyl flooring and sound proofing, and bult NBF Bespoke rock sliders to suit.
Customer Vehicle – Resto Mod 40 Series
This 1979 BJ40 came to us in a restored condition, however an engine failure means the client has asked us to install a modern Toyota engine using components from LC60, 70 and Hilux models, this resto mod is quite the project.
Customer Vehicle – VDJ79 RHD Dual Cab
Doug returns to us for another extenisve project build. Starting with a full chassis paint and wax to be followed by the works!
Customer Vehicle – HDJ100
Alan of ALP Racing commissioned us to overhaul his beloved HDJ100 with a full body shell restoration and colour change. Alan requested an extensive list of accessories including full NBF Bespoke bar work, performance upgrades, interior storage, and wheels and tyres creating his personal vision of the best HDJ100.
Customer Vehicle – Defender 130
Doug came to us with his Defender 130 for Terrain Tamer suspension upgrade, steering, brakes and drive shaft upgrades, raised breathers, winch bumper and NBF scrub rails and the stainless steel tray back was converted to tipper.
Customer Vehicle – Land Cruiser VDJ76
This handsome rig is our biggest build of the year so far. Fully kitted out for tough terrain and touring this stunning VDJ76 has it all. Specification includes full chassis paint and wax, Lazer Lamps spotties and utility lamps, NBF stainless exhaust system complete with custom remap, NBF 4″ stainless snorkel, NBF breather kit, NBF recovery points, NBF speaker pods, Front Runner roof rack and ladder, Fuel Sledge Wheels and Falken Wilpeak muddies, ARB winch bumper with 13,000lb winch, ARB premium scrub rails and side steps, ARB drawer and storage system, Clearview towing mirrors, and a heavy duty Terrain Tamer clutch, discs and pads.
Customer Vehicle – Single Cab Landcruiser VDJ79
Peterborough based agricultural business, “Hull & Wagstaffe” commissioned this brand new Landcruiser 79 build. Imported by Rowlands & Hordon automotive solutions, the vehicle came straight to NBF bespoke, for a range of vehicle upgrades from chassis rustproofing & suspension upgrade plus cab interior improvements. Then the rear tub was removed, and we executed our biggest NBF Bespoke build to date. Starting with a standard Single cab trayback and a full complement of underslung toolboxes. Then under the tray a custom long range auxiliary fuel tank was fabricated, on top, a 700 full width tool cabinet with shelving & 12v power, followed by shortened drop sides & a custom removeable canopy roof with gull wing doors. This was made to accommodate the company’s custom made “fogger” machine that due to its odd shape could not be installed through a doorway. Therefore, the fogger is bolted to the tray and the canopy installed over the top.
Customer Vehicle – FZJ80 Body Restoration
This Landcruiser is a daily-driver for its owners. They did not desire to modify it from its originality over than some subtle interior upgrades. However, the body shell had deteriorated so our new partners, Blackline Classics, carried out an extensive restoration of the body shell which included a full strip-down, all rust was cut-out and new metal formed and welded-in-place. Upon completion of repairs the body shell, doors, bonnet and bumpers received a full respray and underbody sealant. Upon completion the vehicle underwent a five-year ceramic wax treatment to maintain the condition of the new paint.
Customer Vehicle – Dual Cab Land Cruiser VDJ79
Foxhill’s Plant Hire sent this VDJ79 to us for all the usual suspects; chassis prep and treatment, suspension, Braid wheels and Cooper Tyres, Ironman 4×4 winch bumper and winch, spotties and recovery points, NBF Bespoke full-spec tray back including full power coat. Engine performance has been improved with a UniChip package and NBF Bespoke exhaust system. The interior has received Escape Gear seat cover and dash mat set, front speaker upgrade and rear 6×9 speaker box installed along with an Apple Carplay Stereo. A full service has been carried out and a Terrain Tamer heavy duty clutch has been installed.
Customer Vehicle – Dual Cab Land Cruiser VDJ79
RT Mycock and Sons commissioned the very tasteful build to their Landcruiser VDJ79. Retaining the factory tub however interior and upholstery upgrades, suspension, chassis treatment, Braid wheels in custom satin bronze, 35-inch tyres and an NBF Bespoke exhaust system with UniChip performance package have set this truck apart from the others.
Customer Vehicle – Dual Cab Land Cruiser VDJ79
Parnaby Groundworks commissioned us to build their newly imported VDJ79. The accessory list was extensive and included Terrain Tamer Pro Shock suspension, chassis paint and wax treatment, NBF Bespoke tray back with toolbox accessories plus full powder coat and flood lights. Engine performance was upgraded with a UniChip package and the interior received Escape Gear seat covers. The vehicle is returning to us soon for a rear hoop, upper-mounted tool cabinet, roof tent and awning setup.
Customer Vehicle – Ford Ranger Dog Box and Drawer System
This shepherdess’ truck came to us for a twin drawer system and NBF Bespoke dog box system incorporating removable divider panels. As this was a prototype build, we worked closely with the customer and have since developed the dividing partitions to allow three evenly dimensioned kennel spaces.

Anvil Equine Supplies had an NBF Bespoke double cab tray back with smooth floor and underslung toolboxes, plus rear flood lights.
Customer Vehicle – Colorado KZJ95 Full Restoration
Nick’s KZJ95 came to us for a full body-off restoration and sensitive modifications including NBF Bespoke exhaust. Work included fitting new suspension, chassis weld repairs, shot blast and paint, body shell rust repairs and paint, seam sealer and underbody sealant, full service, Lazer Lamps front and rear and brake upgrade.

Customer Vehicle – GDJ150 Overland Prep
This stunning GDJ150 has had a full overland prep including Terrain Tamer progressive coil, Proshock suspension, ARB Air lockers, braid wheels with custom bronze powder coat, Acayx discreet winch bumper, NBF Bespoke underbody protection plates, discreet mount 115ah leisure battery system with Redarc DCDC charge controller, Acayx slim line roof rack, with Bundutec electric roof tent, Bush Company 270 XT max awning, Lazer Lamps auxiliary lighting, Ironman 4×4 snorkel, and a discreet stainless air compressor tank.
Customer Vehicle – 2021 Hilux Dual Cab Trayback
JHD Ecological commissioned us to build an NBF Trayback for their new Hilux. The build includes NBF Bespoke
dual cab tray and extras including removable rear hoop, suspended headboard, underslung toolboxes and central rear draw.
Customer Vehicle – Navara D40 Trayback
Plantcare Ltd commissioned this NBF Bespoke trayback complete with optional underslung toolboxes, suspended headboard and LED lighting.
Customer Vehicle – KDJ95 Full Renovation
Alex’s 90 Series touring truck came to us for a full renovation including replacement chassis, and custom front and rear bumpers.
Customer Vehicle – HJ60 Turbo Conversion
This retro classic 60 Series, a great looking car, came to us for a 12HT engine swap.

Sophie’s 80 Series came to us for a NBF Bespoke customised rear bumper.
Customer Vehicle – Land Cruiser 79 Series NBF Tray Back and Much More
This brand new 79 series supply and build was commissioned by a plant hire company in Hertfordshire. RH and IR Cradock Ltd imported and built the vehicle to the customer’s requirements including a NBF Bespoke Tray Back and 3 inch stainless steel exhaust system, fitted Ironman 4×4 LED light bars, spots, winch bumper, winch, Reccaro seats, Cruiser Consoles interior upgrades and much much more.
Customer Vehicle – 70 Series Restoration
We restored this 70 series from the knocked-about yellow “Noddy Truck” as we named it to this beauty. Full chassis and body restoration along with sensible modifcations for use as the owners daily-driver and shooting truck.
Customer Vehicles – NBF Bespoke Tray Backs
For a number of our contracting customers we have fabricated full NBF Bespoke custom tray backs. Each tray back has been built to the customers exact specifications and requirements. These ute sees daily use on worksites around the country, just as well they’re kitted out with NBF Bespoke; Built to Endure, Made in Britain!

Our long term customer and good friend Herman has worked with us to build one extremely capable 80 Series Overlander.
Customer Vehicle – Series Land Rover Restoration
We’re not just the country’s leading independent Land Cruiser Specialist, we love all 4×4 and Overland vehicles. This Land Rover was owned by the owner of a local department store and fully restored by Ian Cradock back in the early days of IR Cradock and Sons.
