Things to Do

The Wiltshire countryside is right on your doorstep at Yellowtail Camping, and we have a number of local facilities and pubs including the Hilperton Playpark just up the road from us.

Located in a convenient location on the edge of the village of Hilperton near Trowbridge, this spot makes a top base for exploring local towns like Bradford-on-Avon or Frome as well as UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Stonehenge and the Georgian city of Bath.

New Barn Farm, where the campsite is located, is about 15 minutes’ walk from the Kennet and Avon Canal, where there’s lots of scope for waterside walks, bike rides and trips to the pubs that are dotted along the towpath. The site is also within a mile’s walking or cycling distance of a café and a coffee roaster, while Trowbridge town centre’s supermarkets and railway station can be accessed in a five-minute drive or less.
